As the impermeable graphite equipment is made of graphite impregnated with resin, the potential of graphite is as high as 0.37v, and the thermal conductivity is as high as 108-124w/(m. K), which is 2.3-2.5 times higher than that of carbon steel and cast iron, and nearly 8 times higher than that of stainless steel and titanium. As far as the impermeable graphite equipment impregnated with phenolic resin is concerned, it has good corrosion resistance to non-oxidizing acids, salt solutions and weak bases, but poor corrosion resistance to oxidizing acids such as nitric acid and chromic acid, and it is a brittle material. Therefore, graphite cooler manufacturers believe that its application pressure should not be too high, generally controlled below 0.6MPa, as the mother liquor of the United Alkali industry, its ph value is about 8-10. as a weak alkaline solution. Its temperature is lower than 50.From concentrated gas alkali, its operating pressure is lower than 0.5 MPaa. Its process parameters fully meet the operating conditions of impermeable graphite equipment.
